Prior to placing your order with The Essentialist, please ensure you consider where your items will be placed in your home, and any delivery obstacles that may be present. These can include small entryways, staircases, hallways, etc.
Please ensure someone is present at the agreed time of delivery to allow access to our white glove partners. This White Glove Service includes a notification when the driver is within one hour of delivery, assembly and unpacking of your piece, and packaging removal. We will continuously update you via email on every stage of your order.

The estimated delivery time for in-stock pieces within Sydney Metro is 3-10 business days. All other furniture is made to order and requires a 8-20 week lead time. See each piece’s product detail page for individual product lead time, and shipping service. Due the fluctuations in natural stone, delays beyond the 8-20 week lead time can occur and attract a further 10 week lead time.

International shipping requests are subject to the discretion of our logistics team, for up to date shipping rates and lead times, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note that shipments outside Australia may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are the sole responsibility of the recipient. Please contact your respective customs office for further information about specific duties and taxes for your country. In addition, we are required by law to disclose the full value of package contents and cannot alter the value of your invoice or receipt.
How To Track My Order
Product lead times do vary based on customer location and the affirmation lead time acts as a guide only. Once your item is in stock, our third party shipping service, will contact you directly via SMS to book in a delivery time. Once your item has shipped, your confirmation email will be sent.
Missed DeliveriesIf you miss your scheduled delivery, a re-delivery fee to the full value charged by our white glove service partners will be charged to you. Please ensure to communicate with our Third Party white glove shipping providers, should you suddenly not be available during your confirmed delivery time slot. Please note, you must accept delivery or collect your purchased pieces within 14 days of availability notification. If your order has not been accepted during a delivery time slot, The Essentialist reserves the right to cancel and refund your order, minus a storage and restocking fee ($500).
